STATESMAN COVERAGE

There is too muchon Tiger Woods

I do not understand why the Statesman Sports section found it necessary every day to print a picture of Tiger Woods in the Masters golf tournament.

It would make a lot more sense to me to print a picture of the current leader in the tournament. It appears that the Statesman sports writers are just following all the other sports writers in the country. That is that Tiger Woods is the golf god and he sells newspapers.

There are at least a dozen or more golfers that are as good, if not better today, than him. His days as the best golfer are gone.

Print the true facts. Thank you for your time.
