Suspect in Kuna attack

Kuna police are reaching out to the public for information that could lead to the location of a suspect in an attack earlier this month.

The incident occurred just before 2:2o a.m. April 7 after the victim stepped out of the Red Eye Saloon at 414 W. Main St. for a cigarette. That's when police say a man walked up to the victim and hit him in the head with his fists before taking off.

A Kuna police officer who was passing by was alerted to the situation and found the victim on the ground and bleeding from a cut on the side of his head. Police said the injury required hospitalization.

The suspect is described as white with a dark complexion, weighing about 160 pounds. He has a buzz-cut hairstyle and was wearing a grey tank top.

Anyone who has additional information about the incident or recognizes the suspect is asked to call Det. Krista Ducharme at 577-3851 or Ada County Dispatch at 377-6790.
