  • Idaho Green Fest

Noon to 8 p.m. April 20 and noon to 7 p.m. April 21, North End Organic Nursery, 2350 W. Hill Road, Boise. IdahoGreenFest.org. Free. Note: There is no parking allowed on Hill Road. Park at the Healthwise parking lot at Bogus Basin and Hill roads, and take the free shuttle or ride your bicycle and park in the corral.

Celebrate spring with the sustainable folks at Green Works Idaho.

Idaho Green Fest will take over the North End Organic Nursery this weekend with music by Steve Fulton Music, Hillfolk Noir and lots more musicians.

There will be food trucks, spring plant starts, exhibits, recycled art and demonstrations.

This event replaces the Idaho Green Expo at the Centre on the Grove with a smaller, more sustainable formula of smaller seasonal events held at different venues.

Look for other Green Fests in the coming seasons.
