Police: Man threatened to kill woman while holding knife

April 18, 2013

A Boise man was arrested early today after police say he threatened to kill a woman while holding a knife.

James B. Lucero, 26, was booked into the Ada County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault.

Boise police say they were called at about 1:30 a.m. to a residence in the 2100 block of South Eagleson Road. There, the alleged victim - who knew Lucero - told police that she and Lucero became involved in an argument. Lucero allegedly made the threat during the argument, she told police.

Police found Lucero on foot near the home. Alcohol may have been a factor in the incident, according to police.
