Meridian’s University of Phoenix campus has a new director.

Barry Brooks, former director of academic affairs and student services at the school’s Eastern Washington campus in Spokane, will oversee recruitment, staff hiring and colleges goals. In Spokane, he helped with student retention and campus growth.

“University of Phoenix understands the need to develop students to become problem solvers and critical thinkers in preparation for real-world career scenarios,” Brooks said.
