A tale of two Swensons:
They have the same names. They both live in Meridian. They are close in age - only four years apart. But Jeremy S. Swenson, 36, wants you to know that he is not Jeremy S. Swenson, 40, who was indicted Wednesday on federal fraud and conspiracy charges related to DBSI, the bankrupt company once based in Meridian.
Plenty of phone calls:
Shortly after news of the indictments broke Wednesday, the younger Swenson started getting calls from friends and clients wondering whether that was him, said Alexandra Streich of Boise, his attorney. "This has just been very stressful," Streich said. "His clients are questioning his credibility."
Streich said her client has a real estate-related job as production manager at a mortgage service office for National Bank of Layton in Meridian. He is also involved with two other businesses. DBSI, where the indicted Swenson worked, sold real estate investments and managed commercial properties.
