Ada County Sheriff's investigators hoped an autopsy would help them determine how a 55-year-old woman whose body was found in a Star home Wednesday afternoon died.
That breakthrough didn't happen Thursday, as Ada County Coroner's officials say they could find no cause of death for Taryn Ann Marcum.
Both the cause and manner of death for Marcum are listed as pending on the coroner's report. Officials say toxicology may provide some important information but don't expect to get the results of those tests for several weeks.
Ada County sheriff's spokeswoman Andrea Dearden said a report came in shortly after 2:30 p.m. of a woman found dead in a house in the 10000 block of W. Wild Iris Street in Star. Coroner's reports indicate Marcum lived at the home.
Dearden said detectives found circumstances at the home they felt were "suspicious," and continue to work to figure out what happened.
