Idaho needed just one goal - by forward Adrian Foster - to win the third game of its opening-round Western Conference playoff series against the Colorado Eagles 1-0 on Saturday night in Loveland, Colo.
Idaho leads the best-of-7 series 2-1.
The defensive battle was a marked contrast to the first two games, when the teams combined to score 18 goals. Goalie Tyler Beskorowany played his first game of the series and stopped 20 shots to nail down the shutout.
The game marked the return of two players from the AHL: forward Andrew Carroll and defenseman Gord Baldwin.
"Gord and Andrew both have experience and they had a relaxing influence on the team," coach Brad Ralph said.
Game 4 is at 7 p.m. Sunday and will air on Altitude.
