Koda, 8, is a neutered male, black, Schnauzer mix. Koda lost the only home he'd ever known when his owners lost their house. Koda is a gentleman. He enjoys hopping up in your lap to receive affection. He has lived as an indoor dog and will require a home that will still let him be a house dog. Koda is house broken and crate-trained. He gets along well with older children and other dogs. Koda had his teeth cleaned at the IHS Veterinary Medical Center and will need an owner who will continue maintaining his oral health. If you're looking for a gentle, low-energy dog for daily walks and companionship, Koda could be the perfect guy for you.
Koda can be found in kennel 316 (#19471852) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
