Fire crews put out a blaze in the garage of a home in the 4500 block of Bluegrass Avenue in Northwest Boise before it could spread to the rest of the house.
The call for the fire came into Ada County dispatchers just before noon Monday and crews arrived to find an active fire in the garage and smoke coming from the roof.
Boise fire officials say no one was injured in the blaze. Fire officials say crews were able to confine and knock down the flames in the garage area. The rest of the home did sustain some smoke and heat damage.
