Soroptimist International of Boise hosts Lunafest, the fundraising film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women's issues, highlighting women filmmakers, and bringing women together in their communities.
The festival will begin at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, April 6 at The Flicks.
Nine short films will feature stories of women as societal leaders, women's helath, motherhood, body image, cultural diversity and more.
All proceeds from the festival will go to the Breast Cancer Fund and Soroptimist International of Boises service projects.
