Goalie Chris Rawlings earned a shutout in his professional debut as Idaho defeated San Francisco 5-0 on Friday night at the Cow Palace.
Rawlings, who just finished his four-year career at Boston's Northeastern University, stopped 23 shots to earn the win. Steelheads forward Adrian Foster returned to the ice after an extended stint on the injured reserve and scored two goals.
Idaho, which plays its final game of the regular season Saturday night at Stockton, learned its first-round playoff opponent Friday when Colorado defeated Utah 7-4.
Colorado will travel to Idaho for the first two games of their first-round Western Conference playoff series. Game 1 of the best-of-seven series will be played Wednesday at CenturyLink Arena, and Game 2 will be Thursday. Call 331-8497 for ticket information.
