The driver of a dump truck that rolled over while he was filling a sand trap at Quail Hollow Golf Course Wednesday morning seems to have avoided serious injury but still had to be hospitalized
It took Boise fire crews about 30 minutes to get the driver, a man in his 50s, out of the wreckage. The course is just off 36th Street in Northwest Boise.
Fire fighters were sent to the course just after 11:10 a.m. and arrived to find the truck on its side.
The driver lost control of the truck, which was on a slight incline, when he tried to dump a load of sand, according to reports. Emergency crews had to make sure the truck was stable and then removed the windshield to get the driver out.
