Postal inspector tip leads Boise police to make felony drug trafficking arrest

Published: March 22, 2013

Boise police arrested Mathieu L. Easter, 35, of Boise Thursday. They took him into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for trafficking marijuana.

Boise police started an investigation at the request of postal inspectors who suspected Easter was receiving marijuana from his home in the 8200 block of West Valley View Drive in Boise. Easter was then selling it.

During the course of the investigation, officers say they obtained evidence that they forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's office. That office issued the felony warrant.
