Idaho Steelheads fans have three more opportunities to catch the Steelheads at CenturyLink Arena this regular season.
Idaho hosts the Ontario Reign on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. All three games will begin at 7:10 p.m. Idaho (42-17-7) and Ontario (43-16-7) have the second- and third-best records in the ECHL's Western Conference, trailing Alaska.
The Steelheads come into the series with some momentum, as they knocked off the Aces three games in a row last week in Alaska.
The series against Ontario will be Idaho's third against a division leader; it went 1-1 against Gwinett prior to the sweep of the Aces.
"We're really trying to measure up against some good teams," Steelheads coach Brad Ralph said. "It's a good test for us, to see where we are as we head into the playoffs."
Single-game tickets for the first round of the playoffs will go on sale to the general public Friday.
Idaho will play one of four teams in the opening round: Colorado, Las Vegas, Stockton or Utah.
Regardless of the opponent, Idaho will play Games 1 and 2 of the best-of-7 series Wednesday, April 3, and Thursday, April 4.
Fans who purchase a ticket to Game 1 at the CenturyLink Arena box office either Friday or Saturday will receive a free ticket to Game 2. The offer isn't valid via the Internet or telephone. The box office opens at 10 a.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday. Its phone number is 331-8497.
