Carlyle, 1-, is a very handsome pit bull mix. This young guy is energetic, fun and very observant of everything going on around him. His former owners said that he is not good with cats or other dogs, but reported him great with children. He likes toys and knows how to sit and lie down on command. He is a highly intelligent dog and would benefit with additional training. Carlyle is able to jump up and over a 6-foot chain link fence, so his ideal living situation would be a bed by your side, a tall fence, lots of walks and other fun activities. Most importantly, his new family would supply him with a lot of love. He has a lot to give back.
Carlyle is in kennel number 29 in Large Dog Adoptions at the Canyon County Animal Shelter, 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The shelter is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit www.canyoncountyshelter.org.
