Robinson, Steelheads blank Aces late Saturday night

Rookie goaltender Josh Robinson stopped all 36 shots he faced, turning in his fourth shutout this season, as Idaho beat Alaska 2-0 in front of a standing-room-only crowd of 6,599 at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage. Idaho (42-17-7, 91 points) took all three games in the week-long set with the Aces, who hold the top record in the entire ECHL. Robinson started - and won - all three games. The Michigan Tech product stopped 102-of-108 shots, a .944 save percentage, to imprive to 26-6-4. Justin Taylor (second period) and Austin Smith (third) scored for Idaho. Smith leads the team with 26 goals.
