Nathan Sereke recorded the match-winning point Sunday as the Broncos rallied for a 4-3 victory over Texas Tech in the championship match in Montgomery, Ala. Boise State (9-8) was forced to rally after dropping the doubles point despite a win from Scott Sears and Garrett Patton. The Broncos regrouped with four singles victories from Andy Bettles, Thomas Tenreiro, Patton and Sereke. Bettles was named MVP of the tournament.
BSU WOMEN'S TENNIS: Morgan Basil sealed a 4-3 victory over Michigan State on the final day of the inaugural Blue Gray Classic. Boise State (8-5) won four singles matches to rally for the win after losing the doubles point. Basil defeated Emily Meyers 5-7, 6-0, 6-3 for the clincher.
BSU SOFTBALL: The Broncos rallied for two victories, defeating Portland State 6-2 and Idaho State 8-7 during the final day of their home tournament at Dona Larsen Park.
COLLEGE OF IDAHO BASEBALL: The Coyotes (14-9) swept Puget Sound 5-2 and 4-2, giving up only three earned runs Sunday at Wolfe Field in Caldwell. The same two teams meet again at 2 p.m. Monday.
