Idaho State Police are investigating if alcohol use was a factor of a one-vehicle crash that killed a Boise woman late Saturday night.
Alyssa G. Faler was identified as the victim of the crash, which was reported at 10:24 p.m. near the Broadway exit of eastbound Interstate 84.
Faler, who was driving a 2000 Ford Expedition, lost control as she was exiting the highway, police said. The vehicle rolled, and she was ejected. She died at the scene.
ISP officials say the 26-year-old Faler was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. Investigators also say Faler was at an undisclosed business earlier Saturday where she consumed alcohol, but declined to provide any more details Monday because the crash is still under investigation.
The eastbound Broadway exit was closed for about two hours.
