The Idaho Vandals women's basketball team defeated Seattle University 67-64 on Saturday in the Western Athletic Conference championship in Las Vegas to clinch a berth into the NCAA Tournament.
It is the Vandals' second-ever NCAA berth and first since 1985. Idaho was the third seed, and Seattle (20-9) was the No. 1 seed.
Idaho (17-15) was led by Stacey Barr's 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Alyssa Charlston added 15 points. Barr was named tournament MVP, and Charlston was also named to the all-tournament team.
The NCAA women's tournament field will be announced on ESPN on Monday at 5 p.m. MST.
