Defensemen Jace Coyle and Matt Case were returned to Idaho from their American Hockey League teams, and were expected to be available for games against Alaska on Friday and Saturday nights. Coyle was playing in Texas and Case was in Manchester. Also, goalie Tyler Beskorowany was sent from Idaho to Texas (AHL), and rookie defenseman William Lacasse was released. The Steelheads defeated Alaska 4-3 just after press time.
