The inaugural Boise Lacrosse Invitational features 14 high school teams from six states, including eight teams in the top 170 of a regional power ranking.

States represented include Idaho (Mountain View, Centennial, Rocky Mountain, Eagle), California, Utah, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

The eight teams ranked in the LaxPower.com West Regional Ratings are No. 36 Glencoe (Oregon), No. 54 Palo Verde (Nevada), No. 75 Alta (Utah), No. 79 Pleasant Grove (Utah), No. 104 Mountain View, No. 109 Foothill (California), No. 115 Richland (Wash.) and No. 170 Centennial.

Each team will play three games against teams not from their state. Most games are being played at Rocky Mountain and Eagle high schools (games start at 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday at both sites).

There are single games at Gordon Harris Park in Meridian (Mountain View vs. Summit, Ore., 5 p.m. Friday) and Hobble Creek Park in Boise (Centennial vs. Sherwood, Ore., 2 p.m., Saturday).

Tickets for games at Rocky Mountain and Eagle are $3 (adults) and $2 (students).
