Every two years, the Boise State Theatre Department takes over the Morrison Center's main stage with a big, splashy musical production. This year, it's the Roaring '20s musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie." The 2002 Tony Award-winning redo of the 1967 movie brings the Jazz Age to life with frisky flappers, an evil dragon lady and wacky chase sequences. Millie (Tess Gregg, pictured, with Alaggio Laurino as Jimmy) arrives in New York City to take a bite out of the Big Apple and change the rules for women in the working world - and in love.
