It's a big weekend for dance fans, with two chances to see what Boise dancers are creating:
Æ The young artists of Balance will celebrate 15 years with "Balance Generation," the return of the company's alumna. This company's graduates are an impressive bunch who work, study and perform internationally. The performance will include Amanda Micheletty, Graci Meier, Gracie Whyte and Libby Schmoeger.
Æ Ballet Idaho's company members will turn choreographers in the first Studio Series (formerly Ballet Innovations). You'll see the dancers in a new light as they create and perform in styles ranging from modern to classical to jazz.
