Jordan Skyles posted an opening-round 71 and followed with a 70 to finish the opening day of the Sacramento State Invitational at 3-under par. That left Skyles in a tie for fifth place going into Tuesday's final round. The Broncos are at even par for the tournament, four shots back of UC Santa Barbara.
