Personal income rose 3.4 percent in Idaho between 2010 and 2011, the latest year for which numbers are available, as the state crept out of the recession. Total personal income was $52.1 billion, up from $49.5 billion. Every county saw an increase. Ada County’s personal income rose 4.2 percent. Personal income measures wages, profits, government payments and investments.
