Don't put those winter coats away just yet, Boise

Published: March 3, 2013

The high temperature in Boise reached 60 on Saturday — the warmest day we've had since Dec. 2 — but don't put your winter coat away just yet.

A cold front early Sunday knocked down temperatures and dropped .02 inches of rain. The high Sunday was 48, but it felt colder because of wind gusts of up to 33 mph.

Monday will be chilly, with an expected high in the low-40s. What's normal for this time of year? Low-50s. After a cold start Tuesday, temperatures are expected to reach the mid-50s.

There's a 50 percent chance of rain or snow on Wednesday, and a 40 percent chance on Thursday.

Days until spring: 17.
