Boise State men's basketball routs Nevada

FINAL: Boise State 73, Nevada 47 The Broncos improve to 19-8 overall and 7-6 in Mountain West play behind strong defense and a balanced scoring effort. The Wolf Pack shot just 26.3 percent from the field (10-of-38) and were held to their second-lowest scoring output of the season. Anthony Drmic led the way with 26 points, while Ryan Watkins added 14 points and eight rebounds. Derrick Marks had six points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

HALFTIME: Boise State 35, Nevada 20. The Broncos led by as much as 20 in the first half, forcing the Wolf Pack into 10 turnovers while outrebounding Nevada 17-13. Eight different Broncos have scored, led by Ryan Watkins' eight points. Derrick Marks has five assists, giving him 21 in the past five halves for Boise State. Guard Jeff Elorriaga left the floor with a minute remaining in the first half with an apparent arm injury, but returned to start the second half.

The Boise State Broncos (18-8, 6-6) take on the Nevada Wolf Pack (12-14, 3-9) in a Mountain West battle at Taco Bell Arena. The two teams met Jan. 26 in Reno, a 75-59 win for the Wolf Pack. Boise State guard Jeff Elorriaga (18.5 ppg in his last two games) did not play in that contest with a concussion.
