Austin Smith returns to Idaho, where he has recorded 30 points (19 goals, 11 assists) in 23 games this season. Smith last played with the Steelheads on Jan. 5, and he has appeared in 23 of Idaho's 56 games. Still, he has scored more goals (19) than any other Steelhead this season. The 24-year-old has been recalled to Texas four times this season and has appeared in 16 AHL games for the Stars, posting two goals and an assist.
