Published: February 26, 2013

Idaho received Mustapha Farrakhan from the Sioux Falls Skyforce and JuJuan Johnson from the Canton Charge on Monday. As part of the trade, the Stampede sent Seth Tarver to Sioux Falls. Farrakhan, a 6-foot-4 guard, is in his second season in the D-League. The Virginia product was named to the D-League all-rookie second team last season after averaging 9.0 points and 3.4 assists in 39 games with Bakersfield. Johnson, a 6-foot-10 forward, was the first overall selection in the 2012 D-League draft. He was the 2011 Big Ten player of the year and a consensus All-American after his senior season at Purdue. Tarver was in his third season with the Stampede. He averaged 9.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 124 games (73 starts) with Idaho.

LOS ANGELES 107, IDAHO 94: Justin Holiday scored 31 points to lead the Stampede, but Idaho couldn't overcome a 10-point first-quarter deficit in a loss in California. Each team played just seven players. Sean Evans added a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
