The open house for the new 8,000-square-foot emergency department at Saint Alphonsus Nampa Health Plaza will include free health screenings, raffles, refreshments, and children's activities, according to a press release from Saint Al's Monday.
The open house starts at 10 a.m. Saturday. The plaza is at 4400 E. Flamingo Ave., which is on the south side of Interstate 84 at Garrity Bouelvard.
The health plaza is located at Interstate 84 and Garrity Boulevard. The plaza's new emergency department will have eleven beds and full diagnostic radiology services including CT scanning and laboratory facilities. It is part of a 62,000-square-foot expansion that will include the 20-bed Fredric Birkeland Maternity Center.
Saint Alphonsus Health System is investing $33.5 million in the Nampa community to expand access and enhance medical services. Emergency care will continue to be provided at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center, 1512 12th Avenue Road.
