Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State softball drops final game in San Antonio

Holly Bourke tied the school record with four hits Sunday, but the Broncos lost to Rutgers 9-2 at the UTSA Classic. Bourke singled four times for the second four-hit game of her career, becoming the second Bronco to record multiple four-hit games. Tara Glover put BSU (4-6) on the board with a solo home run in the third inning. She also drove in the Broncos' second run with a fielder's choice in the fifth inning.

BSU WOMEN'S GOLF: The Broncos are in second place after the first round of the Folino Invitational in Industry, Calif. BSU trails Gonzaga by four strokes. Samantha Martin and Hayley Young sit in second place individually after rounds of 74.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO BASEBALL: Concordia hit a walk-off home run to defeat the Coyotes 4-3 at the Guardian Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Tournament in Lewiston. The C of I (2-6) led 3-1 heading into the seventh inning.

C OF I SOFTBALL: The Coyotes (7-5) dropped a pair of games at the Northwest Cup in Clackamas, Ore., losing to British Columbia 15-8 and Simpson 12-4.
