Boise State women's tennis team moves to 5-0 record

The Broncos won their first road match of the season, beating Utah State 5-2 on Friday in Logan. The clinching victory came when Sammie Watson recorded a 6-2, 6-0 win over Hillary Hays.

BSU GYMNASTICS: The No. 16 Broncos took on No. 2 Oklahoma, BYU and Texas Women's University in the Perfect 10 Challenge in Oklahoma City. The Broncos (6-1) earned a 195.575 to place second, falling to the Sooners (197.450), while beating the Cougars (194.175) and Pioneers (191.425).

BSU SOFTBALL: The Broncos (3-4) beat Rutgers 3-1 and lost to Missouri State 6-0 at the UTSA Classic in San Antonio.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO BASKETBALL: The men clinched a home playoff game with an 82-72 victory over Concordia in Portland, while the women (18-7, 14-3 Cascade) beat Concordia 69-56.

C OF I SOFTBALL: The Coyotes (5-3) swept two games at the Northwest Cup in Clackamas, Ore., beating Simpson 3-1 and British Columbia 2-1.

C OF I BASEBALL: The Coyotes (2-5) beat Concordia 3-2 and lost to Central Washington 8-7 in Lewiston.
