You've probably heard: Carrie Underwood's current trek, which will visit Boise on Feb. 17, is called the "Blown Away" tour. This might be because she wields her voice like a rocket-propelled grenade launcher. A Los Angeles Times review of a concert in October said, "... her audience cheered every supernaturally sustained note and glass-threatening vocal climax," calling the show a "spectacular production aimed at the 'American Idol' crowd that launched her career, full of dazzling costume changes, creative staging and megawatts of musical wattage." With two fresh Grammy Awards under her belt, expect a confident Underwood to unleash herself upon Taco Bell Arena. It's sold out, but last-minute tickets often are released.
