Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State wrestler earns 100th career victory

Redshirt senior Jason Chamberlain won Wednesday as the Broncos defeated Utah Valley 29-10 in their regular-season finale at Taco Bell Arena. Chamberlain (149 pounds) defeated Josh Wilson 10-4 for his 21st straight win. Chamberlain is 22-1 this season and ranked No. 2 in the country. George Ivanov (157) and Jake Swartz also extended their personal win streaks to 10 and 15 bouts, respectively, for BSU (10-5).

NORTHWEST NAZARENE WOMEN'S SOCCER: Mary Trigg has been hired as head coach. Trigg served as assistant coach at Sacramento State and San Francisco State. She played three years at Fresno State and completed her collegiate playing career at Campbell University in North Carolina.

BOISE STATE MEN'S TENNIS: Andy Bettles is the Mountain West player of the week.

IDAHO TRACK & FIELD: Hannah Kiser and Kyle Rothwell are WAC athletes of the week.
