Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State women's tennis team off to a perfect start

The Broncos shut out Idaho 7-0 on Sunday at Boas Tennis Center to complete a clean sweep of their in-state rivals in the Battle of Idaho. BSU (4-0) has yet to lose a singles match this season.

BSU MEN'S TENNIS: The Broncos lost to Louisville 4-1 in Minneapolis, getting their lone singles victory from Andy Bettles, 6-1, 6-3.

BSU SOFTBALL: The Broncos lost two on the final day of the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz., falling to No. 5 Oregon 9-1 and No. 4 Arizona State 10-0.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO SKIING: The women's squad took first place and the men took second in the NWCSC qualifier slalom event at Tamarack Resort. Eleanor Tansley had the highest finish for the C of I, earning silver.

IDAHO TRACK & FIELD: Hannah Kiser broke her own Western Athletic Conference record in the 3,000 meters Saturday at the Husky Classic in Seattle. She took fourth in the invitational section of the event with a time of 9:04.74, breaking her own previous WAC record of 9:07.23, which she set last season on the same track.
