Utah defeated Idaho 5-4 on Saturday night in West Valley City, Utah. The Grizzlies appeared to have the game in hand when they opened the third period with three goals in the first 6 minutes. That gave Utah a 5-2 lead, but Idaho rallied back with scores by David Toews and Jace Coyle to make it a one-goal game with almost 10 minutes remaining. Idaho was unable to tie the game, however, and Utah escaped with the win.
