Boise State soccer signs eight recruits

New coach Jim Thomas' first recruiting class features three signees from the Treasure Valley: midfielder Baylee Blaser (Mountain View High), midfielder Hannah Frakes (Mountain View) and forward Andie Hill (Borah). All three were members of the FC Supernova team under Boise State assistant coach Eric Simmonsen.

The Broncos also signed forward Kelli Drobney (Longmont, Colo.), defender Hailey DeVries (Littleton, Colo.), goalkeeper Bailey Anderson (Snohomish, Wash.), defender Kelli McCluskey (Tacoma, Wash.) and midfielder Jill Messersmith (Costa Mesa, Calif). In addition, goalkeeper Kylie Mascol will join the team in 2013 as a sophomore. Mascol played at Boise High and spent 2012 at Walla Walla Community College where she recorded 11 shutouts.
