HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS (19)

RB Aaron Baltazar, 5-11, 185, Eastlake HS (Chula Vista, Calif.): Rushed for 1,855 yards and 23 TDs as a senior. Earned first-team All-Metro Mesa League, first-team All-CIF San Diego Section and first-team all-state honors. Also played defense, recording 73 tackles (55 solo), an interception, 14 pass breakups and two forced fumbles.

CB Dionza Blue, 5-11, 180, Bishop Amat HS (La Puente, Calif.): Named first-team Tribune All-Area and first-team All-Serra League at defensive back as a senior. Led the Lancers in tackles (68.5) and interceptions (four). Also a standout running back.

N Mat Boesen, 6-4, 220, West HS (Torrance, Calif.): Named CIF Northern Division Defensive Player of the Year, Daily Breeze All-Area and MaxPreps California Division II All-State second team. Had more than 50 receptions and 800 yards receiving. Also recorded more than 100 tackles and broke West’s single-season sack record.

DE Kamalei Correa, 6-2, 230, Saint Louis School (Honolulu): Named first-team All-Interscholastic League of Hawaii on the defensive line as a senior. Lettered twice in basketball.

TE Alec Dhaenens, 6-4, 240, Fruitland HS: Helped lead Fruitland to three consecutive state championship appearances (3A), winning the title in 2010. Named first-team All-Snake River Valley and first-team All-Idaho at tight end during his junior season. Second-team All-Idaho at defensive end. Missed most of his senior year with a knee injury.

QB Ryan Finley, 6-4, 185, Paradise Valley HS (Phoenix): Named by the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals as the Arizona Player of the Year. Received first-team all-state in all divisions by the Arizona Republic and the high school coaches association. Completed 270-of-424 passes, leading the state with 3,442 yards. He also threw 35 TDs and eight interceptions.

CB Cameron Hartsfield, 5-10, 185, Allen (Texas) HS: Recorded 100 tackles and six punt blocks in his final prep campaign, helping lead Allen to the 5A Division I state title. Defensive MVP in the title game after recording nine tackles and a 56-yard fumble return.

WR Kendal Keys, 6-2, 200, Helix HS (San Diego): Named All-CIF San Diego Section first team following his senior season. Was also one of seven student-athletes named to the San Diego Hall of Champions.

LB Joe Martarano, 6-3, 235, Fruitland HS: Named honorable-mention PARADE All-American following his senior season, just the third Idahoan to make the team. Named Idaho’s Gatorade Player of the Year and All-Idaho 3A Player of the Year. On defense, recorded 147 tackles, two sacks and four interceptions. On offense, threw for 1,300 yards and 14 TDs and rushed for 600 yards and 10 scores.

OL Eli McCullough, 6-4, 265, Rocky Mountain HS (Boise): Two-year starter at left tackle earned first-team All-Southern Idaho Conference and first-team All-Idaho honors following his senior season. Won the state shot put championship in 2012.

DE Durrant Miles, 6-4, 220, Bingham HS (South Jordan, Utah): Registered 51 tackles, a sack, 10 hurries and five pass breakups as a junior. Recorded 64 tackles, 10 sacks as a senior en route to first-team all-state honors from the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune.

CB Jonathan Moxey, 5-10, 180, Dwyer HS (West Palm Beach, Fla.): Earned all-state honorable mention honors following his senior season.

DE Gabe Perez, 6-5, 220, Valencia HS (Placentia, Calif.): Named first-team All-Empire League following his sophomore and junior seasons. Set the school’s shot put record as a junior (57 feet, 3 inches).

TE Jake Roh, 6-2, 215, Chaparral HS (Scottsdale, Ariz.): Named All-Division II Player of the Year and was first-team All-Division II at linebacker (Scout.com). Named Arizona Football Coaches’ Association Division II All-State first team at linebacker. Caught 72 passes for 805 yards and 13 TDs as a senior. Defensively, had 72 tackles, four sacks and four interceptions.

WR Tanner Shipley, 6-1, 180, Wilsonville (Ore.) HS: Named Northwest Oregon Conference Offensive Player of the Year after recording 1,912 all-purpose yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior, playing multiple positions. Also a standout in baseball.

S Thomas Sperbeck, 6-0, 185, Jesuit HS (Carmichael, Calif.): Named MaxPreps All-Sac-Joaquin Section first team as an athlete after leading the team in passing, rushing, tackles and scoring. Also named Sacramento Bee All-Metro first team on offense and was Sac-Joaquin Section Delta River All-Purpose Player of the Year.

OL Andrew Tercek, 6-0, 275, East Central HS (San Antonio): Started at left tackle for three seasons before moving to center as a senior. Garnered first-team all-district honors (28-5A) following junior and senior seasons.

DT Nick Terry, 6-3, 275, Pleasant Grove HS (Elk Grove, Calif.): Registered 55 tackles (26 solo) as a senior en route to All-Delta River League first-team honors. Recorded 77 tackles (36 solo) en route to first-team all-league honors as a junior.

LB Tanner Vallejo, 6-1, 230, Nevada Union HS (Grass Valley, Calif.): In three seasons, recorded 419 tackles, six sacks, two interceptions, 14 forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. Senior year earned a second straight Sierra Foothill League defensive MVP honor. Second-team all-state, first-team All-Sac-Joaquin Section and all-metro.

JUNIOR COLLEGE TRANSFERS (6)

CB Mercy Maston, 5-10, 190, jr., Bakersfield College (Bakersfield, Calif.): Helped lead Bakersfield to a state title last season, leading the Renegades in tackles (10) in the title game. He recorded 68 tackles on the season (52 solo) and grabbed two interceptions.

*DT Tutulupeatau “Deuce” Mataele, 6-3, 285, jr., Mt. San Antonio College (West Valley, Utah): Registered team highs with 42 tackles (23 solo) and 14.5 tackles for loss as a sophomore. Also forced three fumbles and broke up a pass. Recorded 39 tackles (19 solo) as a freshman, including 10 for loss and four sacks. Also had four pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

*CB Cleshawn Page, 5-10, 190, jr., Harbor College (Los Angeles): As a sophomore registered 44 tackles (28 solo), including 2.5 for loss. Also forced a fumble, recovered another and broke up four passes.

*K Tyler Rausa, 5-10, 180, so., Riverside City College (Murrieta, Calif.): Converted 15-of-20 field goals with a long of 48, and was 52-of-53 on PATs in his lone season at Riverside. Earned all-conference honors. Three-year letterwinner at Vista Murrieta High. Went 19-for-21 on field-goal attempts — with a long of 51 — as a senior.

DT Justin Taimatuia, 5-11, 295, jr., Fort Scott CC (American Samoa): Named All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honorable mention following his sophomore season. Registered 29 tackles (21 solo), including 4.5 for loss and two sacks.

*RB Derrick Thomas, 6-1, 210, jr., Butler CC (Pittsburg, Texas): As a redshirt sophomore, carried 157 times for 829 yards and nine TDs, helping the Grizzlies to the NJCAA national title game. In 2011, carried 145 times for 793 yards and six touchdowns.

GRAYSHIRTS (3)

*WR D.J. Dean, 6-1, 180, Eagle HS: Named the 5A Southern Idaho Conference Player of the Year in 2011. Received All-Idaho honors as a defensive back. Caught 56 passes for 801 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, recorded 77 tackles, six interceptions and two forced fumbles.

*LB Darren Lee, 6-2, 220, Lassen HS (Susanville, Calif.): Named first-team All-State for Division III following his senior season. Voted Northern Athletic League Defensive MVP.

*OL Archie Lewis, 6-4, 255, Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) HS: Started on the offensive line as a junior and senior. Second-team All-Baseline League at offensive tackle as a senior.
