Home Depot to hire 225 seasonal workers in Boise area

Published: February 6, 2013

The Home Depot has announced plans to hire 80,000 seasonal workers across the country. That includes 225 for the Boise-area stores, according to Home Depot spokesman Stephen Holmes.

The company is ramping up for the spring, its peak season for sales and seasonal hiring. Stores will be adding part-time and full-time positions. Visit www.careers.homedepot.com to apply.

"We find some of our best associates during our peak season, and many of them have built long, meaningful careers with us," said Tim Crow, executive vice president of human resources, in a press release announcing the national hiring plans.

Military members and veterans can use a new online military skills translator tool to help match their skills with positions at Home Depot. Visit www.careers.homedepot.com/military to use the translator and view 2013 military-focused hiring fairs that Home Depot will attend.
