Live coverage: National Signing Day

Published: February 6, 2013

The Boise State football program added 21 players Wednesday — National Signing Day — to go with the seven who joined the program last month.

One more player, wide receiver A.J. Richardson of Narbonne High in Harbor City, Calif., publicly committed to the Broncos on Wednesday but hasn’t signed yet because of some academic and knee rehab issues, he said. He expects to sign soon.

The class includes 19 high school seniors, six junior college transfers (four signed in December) and three previous signees who delayed enrollment.

The Idaho Vandals and Idaho State Bengals have announced the bulk of their 2013 football signees. The Vandals have added some familiar names, such as QB Matt Linehan, son of former Vandal QB Scott Linehan, and DL Zach Cable, son of former Vandal head coach Tom Cable. The Bengals have inked five in-state players thus far.
