Boise State softball picked to finish fourth in the MW

Published: February 6, 2013

San Diego State is predicted to repeat as Mountain West champions, based on a preseason vote of coaches. The Aztecs (five first-place votes) are followed in the poll by Colorado State (one first-place vote), Fresno State, Boise State (one), New Mexico, UNLV and Nevada. The Broncos return 10 letterwinners and five starters from last year's squad that went 34-20, including 8-4 in MW play to finish second.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO SKIING: The Northwest Collegiate Ski Conference slalom qualifiers, scheduled for Bogus Basin on Saturday and Sunday, have been moved to Tamarack Resort because of snow and racing conditions.
