This week we launch a monthly section featuring articles about Idaho’s law business and news about Idahoans in the legal field.
“The Business of Law” resembles a small version of our yearly themed editions on the law. Newsroom artist and page designer Patrick Davis designed the logo and color accents that give the section its distinctive look. The section is also a useful place to find ads from local law firms seeking your business.
Please let me know if there are specific local stories about the legal business that you think we should tell in future editions. Lawyers: If you aren’t doing so already, please share with us your own or your firm’s news about new jobs, promotions, honors and accomplishments.

Each edition during the legislative session, business reporter Bill Roberts rounds up the previous week’s business-related developments. You’ll find them in the blue box on Page 5, alongside the weekly Catching Up on Idaho Business News summary at right.

We’re also running columns by Bill Spence, a veteran politics writer for the Lewiston Tribune who is in Boise once again covering this year’s session. They’re good reading.
