We continue to see excellent growth in the December quarter, said Jim Cleary, president and CEO. Our revenue and net income growth exceeded our expectations."
MWI estimates that revenues for its fiscal year ending in September will increase between 11.3 percent and 13.7 percent from last year, falling between $2.31 and $2.36 billion.
MWI is named for late Nampa veterinarian Millard Wallace Ickes, who started it at his clinic in 1976 and eventually sold it to Agri Beef Co., of which it was a subsidiary until 2002. MWI sells more than 30,000 products - its own and those of pharmaceutical companies and other vendors - to veterinary practices in the U.S. and the United Kingdom.
