It’s time to start thinking about the cultural explosion at the Modern Hotel and Bar on First Thursday each May. For Modern Art, the tony hotel opens its rooms, courtyard and parking lot to artists from around the area and the country to use as galleries and installation spaces for one night. To participate, download the prospectus at TheModernHotel.com starting Feb. 6. Applications must be received at The Modern, 1314 W. Grove St., Boise, by March 1.
BOSCO
The Boise Open Studio Collective Organization (BOSCO) is holding its annual call for new members. The group works to connect artists and art lovers by illuminating the creative process at events such as the Open Studios Weekend, which happens in October.
