Steelheads lose three more players to the AHL

Goaltender Tyler Beskorowany and forward Austin Fyten are headed to the Texas Stars, Idaho’s AHL affiliate. Beskorowany has been stellar since the beginning of December, compiling a 9-2-2 record and a .932 save percentage. Fyten’s 40 points (14 goals and 26 assists) are tops among ECHL rookies.

Also, forward Andrew Carroll has been loaned to the Connecticut Whale. Carroll, who spent the past two seasons in the AHL, has 12 goals and 19 assists in 36 games with Idaho. Carroll is the 13th Steelhead to be called up to the AHL this season. Idaho’s next game is Friday at Stockton.
