Someone broke into the office at the Bogus Basin ski resort early Tuesday.
Police didn't say how much money was stolen but said the non-profit organization operates on a small margin.
"Any loss from theft can hit the ski operation hard, along with so many families served by the local ski area," Sgt. Brian Lee said in a news release. Police say the burglary occurred between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at the office in the 2600 block of North Bogus Basin Road.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for tips that solve the burglary. Anyone with information is asked to call 343-COPS, or log onto www.343cops.com, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236.
Tipsters can remain anonymous.
