Boise State lands WR commitment

Published: January 28, 2013

The Broncos added a wide receiver to their 2013 football recruiting class Sunday.

Tanner Shipley, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver from Wilsonville, Ore., chose the Broncos after visiting Boise over the weekend. Shipley had previously committed to BYU.

“Boise State has always been the school I’ve dreamed of playing (for) since I was young, so when I got an offer from them I knew I’d probably end up committing,” Shipley told the Deseret News in Utah. “… I wouldn’t chose any school in the country over Boise State and it’s probably the only school I’d chose over BYU.”

Players can sign their letters of intent on National Signing Day (Feb. 6).
