Since Boise passed a nondiscrimination ordinance in December, several Idaho cities have begun considering similar, if not identical, measures. Those cities include Ketchum, Pocatello, Moscow and Idaho Falls.
Ketchum passed its ordinance Tuesday, criminalizing discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodation for reasons of sexuality or sexual identity. The other cities have yet to bring their own ordinances to city council members for a vote.
"I dont even know that they have a document yet," Idaho Falls city clerk Rosemarie Anderson said. "Theyre just kind of comparing notes at this point, still."
