Its tough to know if goodbye really means goodbye in the entertainment universe. But, at 60, George Strait might actually follow through when he says hes done with touring after 2014. Strait has been to Boise before in 2007 with openers Ronnie Milsap and then 17-year-old newcomer Taylor Swift. Nevertheless, this sold-out gig with opener Martina McBride will be CROWDED. Leave early and try to carpool if you have tickets. There will be overlow parking at CWI Micron Center for Professional Technical Education (next to Walmart) for $5. Once inside, fans will know what to expect on stage: a cowboy hat and traditional country music, definitely ending with The Cowboy Rides Away. As the T-shirt says, Damn Strait.
